What is negative energy other than our personal fears projected onto the World we see? What we don’t like to feel, don’t wish to see, don’t agree with, or aren’t willing to understand is easily defined as ‘negativity’ when we wish to believe we possess the power to shape the Will of Existence. Our fearful thoughts assign our ‘negative’ feelings onto other people and things.
It’s not them, it’s you
We must define negativity to feel it. We must project negativity to uphold our perception of it. Thoughts of negative people, places and things must be nourished with focus and concentration to become a belief. As with any belief, we must align with others to validate negativity so that it manifests as truth.
Negative energy must be given to be received, and received to be given by at least 2 who mutually believe, feel and focus on negativity. We must shame, criticize, look down upon, lie, compare ourselves to others, feign an aura of control to know negativity as an intimate, personal experience. We must deny our sorrow, disappointments, mistakes, the fallacy of our expectations, and our very own sanity (natural state of Grace). A desire to protect against negative energy creates a need to be on the lookout for negative shit to shield.
It’s not them, and not the World
As with all things, we must first experience within to craft our definition of what’s without. Even the purest Love can feel negative to one who fears their emotion and true self being seen. Love is clear sight.
A smile can be mistaken as a grimace, a loving caress may feel assaulting, words of encouragement can be misconstrued as arrows aimed at Heart. In fear we can behold the magnificent beauty of Life, such as innocence in the eyes of a tearful child, and proclaim that child to be exuding negative energy.
Negative energy points towards what we think we know about the unknowable. In place of a sincere self-inquiry, acceptance of others, an honest attempt at understanding, we put another face on that we wish wouldn’t Be. We say: ‘they’re bringing negativity to me’. We banish it, smoke and smudge it out, chant it out, attack it with names and disdain, orchestrate imaginary shields of protection, and try to ignore ‘negative energy’ away.
Try as we may, only acceptance and neutrality Frees. Of course, as we deny the perfectly natural flow of EarthLife and all its Beings, we strengthen and personify the idea of negative energy (resistance to Life).
An Invitation to Evolve
What is negative energy other than a Soulful plea for the perceiver to see this brief and fruitful Worldly experience clearly?
We have to consciously feel our way through what we perceive as negative with an intention of understanding the reasons we don’t want to let a thing be. Focusing on what feels negative depletes our Life Force – the fear it represents just feels horrible and triggers pain around us because it’s not REALly our nature. The longer we dwell in negative-feeling aspects of Life, the more ‘negative’ Life appears to be.
Its painful effects serve to awaken us and trigger our return to our Nature by forcing a release of false beliefs. The release evolves into a sweet surrender to our true power: the ability we possess to craft our worldly experience.
We really do live as we choose to perceive
What appears to be negative, ugly, and bad to you, is certainly in support of some other Soul’s evolution, and is somehow necessary, or it would not be. There’s nothing to hide from, no need to heal this world or flee. As we remain centered by Heart we acknowledge that in this world, and all that constitutes It, we’re free to live the experience of our choosing.
Mind your own energy. Practice Presence. Let Life flow through You. Give by Heart to those willing to receive You. Let those who don’t naturally receive your Love be – it’s nothing personal, they aren’t wrong and you are enough, you’re simply not part of their current journey.
With Heart overflowing, you’ll forget about banishing any experience, anyone or thing – you’ll be free to participate, observe, be amused by, consumed by, and ever-blessed by the Life you’re designing. This is not ‘positive energy’, as that idea is just as much a fallacy as ‘negative energy’. The Truth is neither and everything.
