Heart is the feeling space from which we live. As our minds continually play with thought, we form beliefs – which are nothing more than thoughts we hold on to. What we believe forms perceptions that trigger the release of chemicals from our brains. These chemicals generate feelings that let us know if we’re aligned with our Truth or lost in our perceptions of truths. Our bodies continually reflect our minds activities.
Please Be Kind to Your Heart
Our hearts automatically live what our minds believe. It may seem as if outside influences make us feel as we do, but in reality our perceptions trigger our feelings. Even those considered heartless have heart as they too are responding to the way their perceptions feel to them. Feeling nothing is a series of feelings. You can pretend to ignore your feelings – you’ll feel a particular way about doing that too.
There’s no escape from feeling your existence. Your heart lives what your mind believes, so please be kind to your heart by honoring your feelings.
Hearts and Minds Naturally Cooperate
‘Follow your heart’ is the same as ‘being mindful’. Heart and mind work together as all things in this universe do. Confusion is attempting to follow one over the other. We cannot follow what we’re responsible for leading. We cannot choose part of what naturally functions as a whole and feel peaceful. Our heart space echoes our thoughts, so we’re free to reset and realign with what empowers our wellbeing at will.
You already know all of this. I am simply reminding as I remember.
Thoughts are at the Root of Feeling
When you don’t know why you’re feeling a certain way – check your beliefs. When you don’t feel quite like yourself – check the thoughts you’re entertaining. Feeling nothing is feeling too – in states of numbness, question your thoughts. Let your feelings prompt you to stop and go within the wild expanse of your mind – even when you’re feeling divine there are life-affirming treasures there for you.
